LISA FOX
Lisa was born and raised in Grimsby Ontario making the move to England after high school to begin a lifelong career in healthcare. Thrown into the deep end of a busy emergency assessment unit, she began with exposure to all areas of medical, surgical, and mental health. Lisa began taking courses in anatomy and physiology, food and nutrition, infection control, and pharmacology.
From there she transitioned into a community setting working in homes for individuals with mental and physical disabilities, obtaining her National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 2 and 3 in health and social care. Deciding on a career in nursing she moved to a trauma hospital that specialized in cardiothoracic care.
After some unexpected encounters she shifted focus and ended up moving back to Canada to enroll at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy where she graduated with a designation of cum laude in Massage Therapy. Since graduating she has undertaken additional training in myofascial release, ligamentous articular strain, counterstrain, muscle energy techniques, visceral manipulations, and cranial sacral therapy.
Lisa also holds a current Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST) certification from the renowned Stretch To Win Institute and with a passion for learning, she is currently studying at the Osteopathic College of Ontario to gain her designation of osteopath.
